DID THE SCHIFF JURY DECIDE A TAX RETURN WITH ZEROS INSERTED IS ALEGAL RETURN?
(How, pray tell, will the Federal Mafia explain this away?)

After reading the indictments of Mr. Schiff, Cindy Neon and Lawrence Cohen we came away with good news. Let us preface the “GOOD NEWS” by saying the entire trial was a travesty of justice at best and a government contrived, in violation of law, procedure at worst.

However, Mr. Schiff and Mr. Cohen were both charged with attempting to evade and defeat tax under 26 U.S.C. section 7201. More specifically, Mr. Cohen was charged with that offence under Counts 30 and 31 of the indictment. Those charges related to Mr. Cohen filing a (zero) 0 tax return for the years 1999 and 2000 which (THE GOOD NEWS) HE WAS ACQUITTED OF THOSE CHARGES.

Not being in the ball park knowledge wise of Mr. Schiff we are not certain, but to our knowledge NO CITIZEN WHO FILED A (zero) 0 TAX RETURN HAS EVER BEEN FOUND NOT GUILITY IN A FEDERAL COURT UNTIL NOW!

This fact allows you to tell the Nay Sayers that even though the Federal Government did their best to convict Mr. Cohen for filing a (zero) 0 tax return when he had verifiable wages in excess of the minimum amount the IRS says required him to file and pay taxes on, using a traditional return, the jury did not buy the government’s position.Conclusion; a (zero) 0 return is, according to that jury, LEGAL.
Another interesting aspect of Mr. Cohen being found not guilty is it could help Mr. Schiff with his appeal. After all, the prosecution had iron clad proof Mr. Cohen has wages in excess of the, so called, minimum amount required to file a traditional return. Whereas, they only had a number cruncher’s speculation as to how much Mr. Schiff profited. So, is the so called law, the law for everybody, including Mr. Cohen, or is it just to be enforced by the jury against Mr. Schiff. Could this not be a jury’s version of selective enforcement of the law? If you were on the appellate court, and you were honest, how could you justify the jury finding Mr. Cohen not guilty of having filed a supposed illegal zero return and the reverse with Mr. Schiff?
